DESIGNATIONS:
The Appraisal Institute of Canada awards the
professional designations of AACI, P.App and
CRA to those who successfully complete a recognized
educational program.
The AACI, P.App (Accredited Appraiser Canadian
Institute and Professional Appraiser) designation
denotes fully accredited membership in the Institute
and may be used by the holder for the appraisal
of a full range of real property.
The CRA (Canadian Residential Appraiser) designation
denotes members qualified in the appraisal and
valuation of individual, undeveloped residential
dwelling sites and dwellings containing no more
than four self-contained housing units.
Appraisers provide a wide range of services
related to real estate transactions. Some examples
are: residential, commercial or industrial appraisals;
arbitration; counseling and consulting; valuations;
expert witness testimony and litigation support.
